Flu jab has been moved forward

My Mom phoned me earlier to say that the medical centre had just phoned her and changed the date of her flu jab on the 15th October to the 14th October.
She told them I was booked in 5 minutes later than her ( the next appointment ) but was told by the receptionist that she couldn't just change my appointment without speaking to me. So I was expecting a call
Sure enough they phoned and said they needed to change the appointment due to staffing and had moved my appointment to a day earlier at 10.20.
This was five minutes after Mom's appointment.
So, despite saying she couldn't change it without talking to me, she had in fact done just that !
I don't mind the change of day and Mom and I will still go together .

At least it didn't turn into a whole fiasco with your moms being changed and yours not. Glad they changed both of you to the same times.

That is nice that you don't mind. I make my mammogram appointments with my daughter on the same day. They are so busy. The one here in Boise is sometimes scheduled out about a year or more.

that's kinda funny how she said she couldn't change it then went ahead and did it anyway. at least you and your mom still get to go together, thats the main thing honestly. glad the new time works out for you both, flu jab days are always better with company lol
