I Passed Up A Free Dinner

Happy Wednesday Everyone! it's sunny and nice here today. The next few days will be hot again but pretty soon it will be cool and Fall arrives next week.
Yesterday I spent a good part of the day with my older daughter. We went to Hobby Lobby and I got more yarn than I had anticipated but the colors were so pretty I just couldn't pass up buying them. Now I have all sorts of new projects swimming around in my head.
We ran a few more errands and I was tired.
My daughter suggested I go back to her house, hang out and stay for dinner.
Sounded tempting since I'm home alone until tomorrow but being tired I really wanted to sit and relax. Plus the dog needed to go out and fed.
So, I passed on her offer and I was glad I did. I fell asleep for at least half an hour and then made myself dinner.
With that little power nap I stayed up late and caught up on some tv shows.
I'm enjoying my lazy morning today

I would have told your daughter I'd love to do that but I need a nap sometime. I bet she would have let you borrow her bed for your nap and still fed you dinner. 1 person likes this

happy wednesday to you too, sounds like a good day with your daughter even if the yarn stash got a little out of hand lol. glad you listened to your body and rested instead, that nap and tv catch up sounds perfect honestly. enjoy that lazy morning, you earned it

It was nice that you had the offer of a free meal, but as it was from your daughter , I'm sure she will ask again another time.
Being tired and the need to look after the dog, it's understandable that you wanted to get home. I'm sure your daughter understood.
