My ankles are ridiculously swollen

I don't know what is up with that. I mean they aren't just a little bit puffy--they are ginormous. Yes I am on my feet at work most of the time but this isn't a common thing. It has happened occasionally in the past but this has been going on for several days. Today is the worst thus far. My calves are also swollen but not to the extent that my ankles are. I have spent enough time in the hospital and at the day spa over the past 6 months to have had a ton of bloodwork. There are some levels that aren't great or are borderline but kidney function has always been fine. So I have no clue what is going on. I was supposed to have a telehealth appointment with a NP from my employer's health clinic this afternoon but I was late getting out of work and then there was an accident on the parkway and a stupid amount of traffic on local roads. I missed it. I will have to reschedule. It was only for refilling the zillion prescriptions I'm on but now she is going to want to see me in person to check out my ankles and legs. For now I will just put my ankle compression sleeves over my socks and hope for the best.
