Have you ever been told from any source that if the gas station you want to go to is getting it's underground storage refilled you should not fuel up at that time? I read or heard it somewhere.
I need to fuel almost every day. The station I was going to use was being refilled. I can wait until tomorrow.
The reason this is given as advice is that the turbulence of the gasoline flowing into the storage tanks stirs up sediment in the tanks and that if you fuel at that time you can get nasty stuff in your gas tank.
I do not know if it is true. It seems to make sense to me, though. So I passed on fueling up today.

Well, I hope not. I fueled up the other day when they were filling the pumps on one side. I would have skipped it if I had heard that before.

I just asked George, who's been driving since he's been sixteen and he said he hasn't heard of that. In fact, it's not unusal to come across trucks coming with fuel. Especially right before or after a storm. we fuel up when we need to.
