Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 64 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. Oh well. At least it isn't raining. The students have off today for Rosh Hashanah. We had a professional development day. None of the meetings really were anything that interested me so I took a personal day. I hate wasting my time on PD days. I was up late and didn't wake up until like 10am. That was lovely! I don't have any big plans for the day. I've got some cooking projects planned but we'll see how far I get with those. What's everyone else up to today?

I have spent too much time shopping for better and cheaper car insurance. A quest I am not willing to give up on yet. It is so frustrating to even get to speak to an actual person! Son has a transfusion and an iron infusion today so that takes care of the afternoon. While he is at the treatment center I will go to the nearby Aldi store for some things we need. Other than that, we hope to have a calm and uneventful day.

Sleeping in till 10 sounds amazing honestly, love a good lazy start. Smart move skipping the PD if none of it interested you, no point sitting through meetings that don't help. Hope the cooking goes well, what you making?

I slept a little late, probably because I was watching the incredible Colts/Chiefs game last night. I’m hoping to just get some things ready for the post office tomorrow.

It's nice when there's a day off and not much going on. My kids have a day off on Friday. It'll be nice to have to deal with making lunches for them and such. I'm just currently working from home, which is always nice.

I'll be getting out in the garden again shortly but I've had a blood test and am not supposed to lift anything too heavy so the bags of potting mix might have to wait until tomorrow.
