Good afternoon myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 68 degrees F, breezy, and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. It actually feels colder than that. I guess it is the breeze. Work was busy today. I've been getting really sleepy by 6th period. I've got to get back into the habit of using my CPAP. I didn't feel great today in general. I had a cold ginger ale this afternoon and the next thing I knew I was rushing to the bathroom to puke it up. Needless to say I didn't eat any lunch. I was going to stop at CVS to pick up prescriptions (7!!) but then I remembered that the pharmacy closes from 2-2:30pm so the pharmacist can have lunch. So I will have to stop by there tomorrow on my way to back to school night. Ugh. I hate back to school night. It is so unnecessary in this day of email and online grading programs. No big plans for the afternoon. For now I'm just sitting and catching up on the news and InternetLand. What's everyone else up to?

I hope you aren’t out of your medications, wish you could have gotten them. Our CVS does the same, they close the pharmacy for 30 minutes every day. They have to have a pharmacist on duty regardless of lunch breaks, and they only have one pharmacist at any given time. Taking the son to a pre-op appointment in hopes the insurance clears for his eye surgery. Hopefully that won’t take too long.

I just got back from the dentist and going to the post office. Checked my mail and got my absentee ballot. Time to make some changes in government offices! Our CVS closes from 1:30pm to 2pm for lunch. The other pharmacy I use, Walmart Neighborhood Market quit closing for lunch, which I appreciated. I hope you start to feel better, and fast.

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't feeling good. Hopefully you're able to pick up your prescription. I don't have too much planned. Just finished work. Gonna just chill with the family.

I remember the years when almost all the shops closed for a lunch hour and most closed at 12 noon on a Saturday.

Sounds like a rough day honestly, hope you feel better after getting sick like that. That CVS lunch break thing is so annoying, they get you every time. Enjoy your evening and try to relax before back to school night tomorrow.
