Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 64 degrees F, sunny, and breezy here at the Jersey Shore. It feels like fall! Work was easy today--the students took their first test. Even easier--I didn't grade them! The in-class support teacher did 1 class of them but I just couldn't get myself to get going on the rest. I don't know what my deal is this year but so far I am off to a slow start. The homecoming dance is this Saturday so we are having a spirit week. I usually don't participate but today was Soccer Moms & BBQ Dads. I wore a polo shirt, shorts, and my Friends apron and was a BBQ Dad. No big plans for tonight. Fine with me! What's everyone else up to?

Sounds like a nice easy day, 64 and breezy is perfect fall weather. Love that you dressed up for BBQ Dad day, that's a fun spirit week theme. Nothing wrong with a slow start, give yourself some grace this year.

I am loving the cooler temperatures and not having a need for the AC or the heat, either. I hope it stays this way for a long time, it definitely saves on the electric bill! Spirit weeks sounds fun.
