Last spring my cardiologist told me I needed a heart catheterization. . . my insurance said "No", so he wanted a CTA (catscan with angiogram) My brother and sister-in-law came and sat with Bob and we spent the morning at a large hospital. Then went to lunch. When it was time for my follow up I coouldn't go due to Bob's condition. Today I was rescheduled.
The scan shows all my arteries are clear and my heart is healthy. My blood pressure is high, but could still be stress. An EKG was done today and it is good. I went to pay my co-pay and was told I had overpaid at some point and no need to pay today.
I met Jane and Ken at Braum's, a regional burger and dairy place and ate entirely too much. When I came home I took a chair nap, so it has been a good day.

That’s wonderful, Heather! I am so glad it turned out you didn’t need that heart cath anyway. Although, it alarms me insurance said no.
What are they doing for the blood pressure? Obviously, a lot is stress, but are they suggesting anything? My dad had to be put on something for his BP during my mom’s ordeal.

Especially the arteries being clear and the heart healthy.
And eating too much at a burger joint is good as well

Wonderful news, for sure. Ending it all with a good meal and a chair nap sounds wonderful, too.
