Why did I forget the tinned tomatoes !

I always have to wait to find out what The Mister has eaten during the week before I plan what I am going to cook for Saturday tea. As he works away Monday to Friday he sometimes will eat out in local pubs or he will go shopping and cook for himself. Obviously, I don’t want to cook something on the weekend that he has had during the week. Mom said she had some mince beef in her freezer and did I want it. I decided then to cook a spaghetti bolognese. I got mushrooms and part baked baguettes so that I could make garlic bread ( we are both eating it so don’t mind bring stinky ! ). However, this little air head forgot to buy tinned tomatoes …. I didn’t feel like going shopping yesturday so it meant popping out this morning. I bought a pack of 4 tins so that I can keep some in the cupboard. I find them useful so try to keep a couple of tins in the cupboard. What food do you always try and keep a supply of ?
