I found it

I decided to look under the couch again and saw something there.
Could it be my puzzle piece? I wondered.
I couldn’t reach it with my hand so used the long parchment paper box to try and get it from under the couch.
The thing ended up under the table.
I bent down and grabbed it.
Looked at my hand and there it was, my missing piece from the puzzle.
It was turned upside down so perhaps that is why I didn’t notice it, even though I looked under the couch many times.
It must have blended in with the color of the floor.
What a relief!
I’m definitely happier at the moment.
Now if only I can find my official documents that I are nowhere to be found.

I agree. I hate missing pieces in general but this one missing a piece just wasn’t the same.

@celticeagle If it comes to that I can probably replace my social security card and my passport but not sure how one can replace one’s certificate of citizenship.

I gave the folder with the docs to my mom when we were moving stuff from my house to hers. She doesn’t remember what she did with the folder. Maybe if I stop looking it will turn up just like the puzzle piece did.

I have looked for the documents, many times already and I cannot find them anywhere. Maybe I have to stop looking for them and they will turn up on their own.

That's great. Yesterday I was looking for a letter everywhere. I thought I had it in the living room and I found it where I left it. lol
