. . . well most of them anyway. I was expecting the copays for 7 scripts to be $35. I about fell out of my car when the pharmacist told me it was $75 for 5. It wasn't until I got back here to the apartment I saw that she had written some of them for 90 days and some just for a month.
As I was combining the contents of bottles to condense everything I noticed that she didn't call in naltrexone or cyclobenzaprine so I have to follow up with that because the naltrexone is really helping me.
Anyway I mentioned in my last post that I hauled ass out of work as soon as the bell rang. I literally yelled to my students "last one shut the door!" By contract we are supposed to stay in the building until 1:50 but most people bolt right away.
Why was I in such a rush to get to CVS? Because the pharmacy closes each day from 2-2:30pm so the staff can have a lunch. I was on the parkway at 1:50 and hit traffic. I could feel my BP rising. I *just* got to CVS at 1:55 and they already had the gate down.
I decided to try the drive through pick up and saw that there were a few cars in line. By that point it was after 2 so I figured they would tell us to go away and come back later. Nope. I got to the window at 2:10. That's when I saw a sign saying that they close from 1:30-2pm. Good to know because doing the Mad Medication Dash was not fun.

Oh, my. Sounds like a race for sure. Glad you got them, but be careful on these Mad Medication Dash Days!

I like it when my doctor calls in three months at a time so I don’t have to depend on them to refill them all on time each month.I know it seems like a lot, but $75 for five prescriptions is really appealing. That being said, if I expected only $35, I would have been very disappointed even if I understood the cause.

Glad you got your meds, and I hope you get those that you need refilled.
