I've got to order a new electric blanket.

I've used one for many year and my ex hated it so I'd just get a twin size so it would stay on my side. 2 years or so I was complaining that I had had to throw mine out because it wasn't heating up any longer. My ex (awesome guy) ordered me a new one and sent it as a Christmas gift.
Well this past spring I wasn't around for a couple of months and my downstairs neighbor was paid to specifically feed and take care of my cats. When my mother and aunts got in here to clean up before I got back they found my comforter and electric blanket covered in urine and poop. They immediately threw them out.
I have spare comforters and quilts on hand to use. I do not, however, have another electric blanket. I am going to have to order a new one. And all I can say is that my neighbor must have cleaned out the box for all 8 weeks because my cats have NEVER pulled that kind of stunt before.

I hope you find one you like; I do not like them and have a down comforter,

All of today's modern electric blankets are washable. Without the controls attached, obviously. They have to be spread out to dry, but they are washable.
