OK I am taking the patient focused label away from this doc / myLot

I did see the nurse assistant..who got my vitals, but that was 45 minutes ago. Where the heck is the doc? Not here in the little room! He also is not in his office. No one has walked by to tell me anything nor do I have anyone I can ask. I can hear the staff out there gabbing, but no one is close enough to ask. I am about to leave the little room for an update.

The doctor could be on his tea break. Or out of the building for a smoke. I hope you find out what is going on soon. Has this ever happened to you before?

Forty five minutes is way too long to be left sitting in there with no update. I would honestly just go ask, they prob forgot you were in that room. Hope the doc shows up soon and it's worth the wait.

I did ask, they assured me he was behind, but was coming. Wonderful, there was nobody in the place or very few people..what exactly was he behind with? He wasn't in his office.

I sure would. I remember waiting an hour in my room once, and it turned out my doctor really didn’t know I was in there. I was so mad. I’m sure yours probably knows, but goodness, that’s awhile.

That's one reason I avoid docs as much as possible, they're always late and I'm sick and tired of getting to my appointment on time then have to wait over an hour for a nurse to call on me to get my vitals, it's annoying.
