No forwarded mail yet

So I did the mail forwarding thing with the post office toward end of August.
So far I haven’t received a single piece of mail that was forwarded to my mom’s house.
I wonder why.
Do they hold off on forwarding the mail for some time before they actually sent it to the new address?
I doubt that nothing was mailed to my old address since I moved out.m
There had to have been something, even if just spam.

Mine took about two weeks to start showing up after I did the forwarding, so it might just be slow. Could be worth calling your local post office to make sure the request went through ok. Even junk mail usually shows up first, so it's weird nothing came yet.

How long has it been? Maybe you can call the post office. Make sure your mail has been forwarded. Do they forward junk mail?

I did the mail forwarding I think August 26 or 27th. They should forward anything that comes to the other address I would assume.

When I closed my PO Box at the Post Office, they held the mail at the Post Office, even though I'd signed up for mail forwarding. When I finally went to the Post Office, they handed me a large bundle of mail. I didn't understand then and it still doesn't make sense now.
They're probably holding your mail like that, too.

@lovebuglena Our Post Office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. I would call them on Monday and ask.

@Ineeddentures maybe a credit card statement but as the balance on the card is finally zero they may have not sent it.
