The photo is Vince’s, taken with his phone the evening before the Mangowine music concert. The sky was magnificent and, although the evening gradually got colder and colder, it didn’t rain. The crowd were all set for a good time and they weren’t disappointed.
The photo was taken at Mukinbudin Caravan Park the night before Mangowine. A local band entertained us for the evening.
The next evening, six buses travelled from our caravan park at Mukinbudin to the venue so no-one needed to drive home but could enjoy a drink or two while listening to the music. Other buses conveyed people from Nungarin and Westonia parks. Some were able to camp onsite and some drove themselves to the venue.
Vince turned his hearing aids down as low as possible but at one point, his watch warned him of a ‘loud environment’. All in all a great night.

Is the caravan park out in the bush?

The towns have caravan parks but no-one lives at Mangowine Homestead now. There might be a caretaker in his own caravan during the peak holiday season. You could park overnight there if you were self-contained ie had your own toilet, water and cooking facilities.

@JohnRoberts I'll have a photo for you all soon. Yes, the band were under a canvas dome affair and everyone else were on chairs in the open air. Lots of stars!

I'm glad you and Vince had a good time last night and hope you'll have a good evening/night tonight, too.
Vince's photo of the evening sky is beautiful!

Vince has such a keen eye, and his photos, as this one, never disappoints.
The sky is spectacular looking.
I find that during the transitionary seasons of spring and fall, the clouds and the sunsets and sunrises are magnificent. The changing night time temperatures must cause this.
