This is really sad news
BabyGirl hadn't been back at her own house that long when she phoned me
She was really upset
" hi daddy ( sob) can you come over please ( sob) Morris had died (sob)"
Poor Morris, a Black Moor Fish, probably been over fed lol
I asked how she knew it was dead
" He floating on his back Daddy looking at roof" ( sob) are you coming over now and see Baby girl"
I suggested she flush it down the toilet
" Can you do it please daddy, (sob) I'm so upset"
Phone was on loudspeaker and Yvonne is on stitches
" Hold on BabyGirl, I will see what Mummy says
Yvonne said I better go as she sounds really upset, make sure she is ok before you come home
" Mummy says I can come now so I will be there in half an hour "
" Love you Daddy, tell Mummy love her too. Oh can you get me a jar of coffee and some milk and biscuits at the co op on the way here please
Yvonne burst out laughing loud
" I've got everything here babygirl so will just come straight there, see you soon"
See this being a parent gig, it's tough

Tougher now.
Kids are different.

I see that is tough and you want your kid to not be a marshmallow but if a parent laughed at me I would throwing it their face Why you laughing, that was a living being.

The whole thing made my day except poor Morris meeting his maker
The coffee and biscuits was a classic
She is good at that
