Does anyone have spare keys to your house ….in case of emergencies ?

So, heaven forbid, that we lost our keys, my Mom has a complete set of keys for our house.
Generally , our lovely neighbours look after the house when we are away. They have a fob that opens the carport roller door so that they can water the garden.
It’s good that we are close enough to people that we can trust them with the keys ….
You just never know when an emergency is going to happen , so it’s good to have a back up plan….
Has anyone got spare keys to your house ?

My dad has two sets of spare keys to my house. However, for awhile I kept losing mine repeatedly, and so he had that set for me as well until I found the previous set. Finally, I got myself together, and started really making an effort not to forget to put them in the same place. I haven’t lost them in about two years now. It seems to have been a problem I developed because I hadn’t always done it.

My daughter and son in law have a key to my home and I have a key to theirs, too. You are right, it’s best to have a back up plan!

Yes we do and it's a common practice to always have spare keys.
