So, for my tea this evening I have had fish & chips.
A traditional meal here in the UK.
I cooked it all in the air fryer.
Oh, and home made chips are the best too.
It took only around twenty minutes to cook from scratch …pretty good time I think.
Had to have salt and vinegar with it too……
What have you had to eat today ?

I have malt vinegar with mine. Yum! Wish we still had a Skippers here. They were so good.

I had a lovely BLT. I couldn’t resist it, and the juicy tomatoes really made it. A little mayo and my appetite was satisfied.
Hopefully, I won’t be hungry for awhile. Lately, my appetite has been annoyingly large. I wish I were one of those people that never really had a big appetite.
Your fish and chips sound delightful. I’d like to have some myself!

@AmbiePam. And healthy too as the chips were done in the air fryer and not deep fried. Although the fish had batter on, that too was air fried not deep fried….

@traceyjayne Chish and fips are no good without salt and vinegar. Did you make any tartare sauce? I made the most splendiferous pesto to go with our pasta tonight. We’ll stink of garlic for a few days now but I don’t care. Store bought pesto really is quite unpleasant to taste once you’ve made it fresh yourself.

@Traceyjayne Basil, toasted pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, Parmesan and I also put in a green chilli. Pound the life out of them in a pestle and mortar or blitz them. Quantities are dependent on personal taste. I make loads of it so that after dinner I can fill the bath with the leftover pesto and wallow in it.

@xFiacre I don’t make Tartare sauce …..I do have a jar in the fridge, but tonight I just fancied ketchup.
I am growing my own Basil now so I’m going to give making my own pesto a try …..you can send the recipe if you don’t mind….

The last week or so, my fall allergies have been in high gear. I even got a new prescription for this. The last few days, I have not been very hungry. I’m too busy wiping my eyes and sneezing! Haha, it is improving but it’s so annoying.

You make good use of your air-fryer. Fish and chips is always a welcome meal.
