Errands. And folk music.

Today was a day of errands for me. I scored some groceries at Safeway, and then scored some inexpensive lotions and potions at the DollarTree. When I got home,I found myself researching a song by John Prine called Sam Stone. I wanted to make sure I had the lyrics right. It's one of my favorite "folk songs." Finally I got a swim in.It was still in the 90s F at 3:30 PM. I sang between laps. How was your Wednesday?

Swimming during a hot day is great. In here is hot too but i can't go swimming. Hopefully i Will get healed soon and then go swimming. My wife told me that we should go swimming soon after i get healed

I miss Safeway! We don't have them out here. I grew up going to them. I do love me some DT though. That's where I get the majoirty of my lotions and potions too.

@TheHorse It's one of the only places I can find my favorite lotion. It's a two oz tube, but for a dollar twenty five I'd rather get it there. Walgreens ahs the same tube for about seven bucks.

I also went out early in the morning for grocery shopping. Our grocery store offers a 10% rebate on everything we buy on Wednesday if we are 65 or older.

Sam Stone is such a heavy song but so good, John Prine could really tell a story. Singing between laps sounds like a fun way to swim, I bet the time flew by. My Wednesday was pretty slow, kind of jealous of your swim in that heat.
