Decorating with corrugated iron

In my last discussion I wrote about some ironwork that was for sale. The guy is a master welder and had some lovely pieces. There was also a man there selling items made mostly from corrugated iron. I’m using Vince’s photo as his shows more of the items. My photo was taken from the side and doesn’t show as many pieces. As we drove through town, we saw one of the metal kangaroos in a garden. Someone else must have liked them too.

There was an elephant and he had it wired up somehow to squirt water through its trunk. I guess he had a little pump somewhere.

Those metal kangaroos are so cool, I can see why someone put one in their garden. Corrugated iron makes good art, it has a nice rustic look. Glad you got to see all those pieces, sounds like a fun outing.

When he packs them away to take them home he wears heavy gloves as the tin would cut you to pieces.

I can’t imagine the time, the patience, and the talent it takes to do things like that. It’s just amazing.

Those artworks look really good. People need to have a good imagination to find out what to create with corrugated iron.
