Do you set aside certain times of the day to do certain things?

I almost always make phone calls I need to make in the afternoon after lunch. Usually I am not keen on talking to businesses and such over the phone, and personal calls I usually make then too. I am really not interested in devoting my morning to make phone calls I really don't want to make, unless I have to, I won't make those calls then. What about you, different times of the day to do things like that, or other things?

I only want to do fun stuff in the morning, but I will do a bit of cleaning in the kitchen while waiting for coffee to brew etc. I do take a lot of surveys though as well.

I think I would be worried about running into criminals or coyotes, or the stray aggressive dog.

@snowy22315 I see coyotes all the time. There are other walkers, joggers, dog walkers and early to work people that early.

Oh yes, phone calls after noon for me, laundry and cleaning in the mornings, grocery shopping in the mornings. I even have set days to do laundry, dusting, vacuuming and so on.

Best to be on a schedule for those kinds of things, or so I have heard.

If I have to make a business call I try to do it in the morning so it's over and done with. As for friends mostly afternoon when I can enjoy spending time on the phone.

I just can't face something I am not looking forward to early in the morning. I would rather do more cheerful things to get my day off to a good start.

@snowy22315 no sense starting your day off with something unpleasant to tackle.

I guess I do have certain times for things …without realising If I need to go shopping I always go in the morning. When I come on here I check how many notifications I have, then I write a post, then go back and reply to notifications I always get my bag ready at night for the next day …..making sure I have any vouchers I need, shopping list, brolly if needed… I always ring Mom before I go out I always text The Mister before I go out I tend to make phone calls etc during the afternoons.

I always structure my day with phone calls in the afternoon, I am also energetic in terms of getting work done in the AM unless I didn't sleep well so I do that too in the AM.

Same here, afternoons are way better for calls. Mornings feel too valuable to waste on stuff I'm dreading anyway. I usually save my writing for early on when my head is clear, then the phone can wait till later.

I do almost all of my phone calls in the mornings if I can help it. I want to get them out of the way as soon as possible or they linger in my head.

I don't really do that but of course Roscoe always reminds me to let him out in the mornings to do his bidness. Oh yeah, coffee time is shortly after I get up but sometimes, if Roscoe lets me, I get up late like at 9 or 10am.

I almost always pray after I wake up from my afternoon nap. I set that time aside to read the Bible, pray, and meditate.

It is nice to take time to do that. I pray sometimes at night if I find myself becoming negative and not having good thoughts.
