A little Worried

Not so much about the hurricane. After living through Michael and Opal, pretty used to hurricanes in October! But I went to my doctor and she worried me. She kept saying she wanted me to get a CT scan since this pain I have had happened AFTER my PET/Scan. And the way she said it was a little unnerving. I stopped at the front desk to see about a return appt. and all she said was..I think she told you ASAP on the CT? I wanted to make sure I got my sweetner at Walmart, and knowing how my vertigo came back at the PET/Scan, I decided to go to Walmart before I went for the CT scan. Worked out pretty good. Walmart is right down the street from the diagnostic center, so I went to Walmart, and then to the CT. Only had to wait maybe 10 min. before they called me back. Went home and just saw an email about results available. Went and looked. They found some things wrong, but nothing like an emergency or somethng that needed attention right away. So...waiting for the doctor to call tomorrow and see what all she recommends. Tom made his famous Spaghetti and garlic bread for supper.

I’m glad you were able to get that CT scan so quickly. I’m sure she did inspire some fear with her urgency.

I know how scary those medical test results can be. I always get anxious when it takes awhile.

Tests can be worrying, but supper sounds good. I think it was a good plan to go to Walmart first.

Yeah, that’s scary. I had a doctor send me to the hospital IMMEDIATELY for a brain scan, and I was crying so much that one of the technicians called the hospital chaplain to come talk to me and calm me down. Glad your results weren’t flagged for immediate attention.

Glad the results weren't an emergency, waiting on a call is always the hardest part though. Hope your doctor gives you some clear answers tomorrow. Tom's spaghetti and garlic bread sounds like exactly what you needed after a day like that.

It's not hard for doctors and other professionals to frighten the life out of us sometimes. I'm glad it doesn't seem too serious.
