Lucky find

The hotel we are staying at in Cape Cod has a collection of jigsaw puzzles. I decided to do one to pass the time. I couldn’t find one piece and bent down to look under the dresser as some pieces fell off the table while I was doing the puzzle. I couldn’t find the missing piece but I did find two dimes and then later two pennies. I put the coins in my wallet. Nice find. My mom had a much better find than me. She opened up the microwave and staring at her were two $5 bills. I’ve seen/found money in strange places before but never in a microwave. Wonder why someone put them there. At first I thought maybe someone left a tip for the cleaning person but if that were the case they wouldn’t put it in a microwave. I did manage to find the missing piece the next day but then there was a second missing piece and that one I never found.

You never know the person who was there before you. That's odd to find money in a microwave though.

I thought it must have been a tip too. But I guess there would be no reason to leave it in the microwave unless they’re just got a weird sense of humor.

I would have thought the money in the microwave was a tip but maybe not.

I would imagine, perhaps before whoever put those $5 bills in there, didn't want to leave with any cold cash. lol

Money in a microwave is so random, I would have double checked that nobody was playing a joke on me. Maybe somebody forgot it there after heating up their food, thats my guess. Missing puzzle pieces are the worst though, one always disappears and drives you crazy.
