Bad Beverage Day

When I went to the city earlier in the week, I had breakfast at a popular breakfast spot. They give you carafes of coffee for your table. I only drank about half of it while I was there, so I got a to go cup for some of what was left in the pot. I don't know how it happened but as I was drinking, and walking I missed the hole in the lid, and managed to pour some on my sweater! Argh! I was about to walk into a store, so I didn't get a chance to clean it off until I got back to the car. Here I was with little dots, of coffee on me. I suppose I could have tried to find a bathroom in the store, but it was busy, and I didn't know where it was. Then when I got home, I had a can of soda roll out from the back of the car, the aluminum broke open and it sprayed my pants. What a mishap!! It was a bad beverage day! Did you ever have one? I am guessing although people have mishaps, I am the only one that had two in one day.

Some days are just like that, one spill or mess after another. I had one day this week that it seemed like I dropped almost everything I touched. I blamed it on just having a clumsy day, but sheesh...one mess after another, of my own making.
No matter how careful we are, some days are just messy days.

The bad beverage day is quickly making for a laundry day in the very near future.
I had a take out coffee yesterday, and had the same thing happen, while I was dressed up and working at the office.
Oh well, you can dress me up but can't take me anywhere.

The soda can incident is worse than coffee because that syrup gets sticky on clothes.

They were both bad. The soda was sugar free..so I didn't get the sticky effect.

All I can say is better on your shirt then your computer keyboard. Now that is really a disaster!
