We just need to be kind to each other

It's 9:46 p.m., and the temperature is 26 degrees celcius .. It drizzled a little earlier, now it's really cold. Dinner's coming up soon, then I'll be heading to bed. The power's still out, and it's really getting to me.
Yesterday on TikTok, I saw a video of Trump talking about depression, saying people should just work hard and that would solve it. Honestly, I just shook my head.
The thing is, depression isn't always obvious to people. You can't always see it, so folks can dismiss it like someone's lazy or faking. You really can't know what someone is dealing with just by looking. So I think we should be really careful with what we say. At the end of the day, we just need to be kinder to each other.

Trump doesn't know which end is up. Anyway what hard work all my writing does for me online is keep me optimistic and busy and doing routine writing from day to day helps me greatly not to swell on my anxiety problems,

That is a good way to do it and why I like Mylot we can vent our frustrations so we do not go mental like the kid in Oregon.

It’s good that writing gives you something positive to focus on. Having a routine and something you enjoy can make a real difference when anxiety starts getting overwhelming.

@crossbones27 That’s one useful thing about having a place where people can express themselves. Sometimes being able to talk about what’s bothering you and knowing someone is listening can help ease the burden.

If you being honest with yourself, working hard does not lead to mental problems. A lot of people sell out on societal lies and that is what leads to mental problems in my opinion.

I agree. Being busy or working hard doesn't automatically resolve mental health struggles. People can be productive and still be dealing with things others know nothing about.

@crossbones27 I think it depends on the person and what they’re going through. Work can give some people structure and purpose, but it can also become a source of stress. Mental health is rarely as simple as one explanation.

As someone who deals with depression, I agree. I've met so many people who just think I should "get over it" or whatever.

I try to focus more on the message and how it affects people than on the person delivering it. When it comes to depression, what matters most is that people take it seriously rather than dismissing it.

Depression in my cause is caused by events that are out of my control like hoping that my transportation driver will pick me up on the day of my doctor's appointment on time.

That uncertainty must be stressful, especially when you have an important doctor's appointment to get to. It's difficult when something you depend on is outside your control. Hopefully, your transport arrangements become more reliable.

You are right. It is a good lesson. I am sorry about your power. It isn't right

His problem is people listen to him and he is so full of hate. People always ask me what do I mean by that. Meaning, if you do not like what he is doing and disagree, he is going to try to punish you.
Which leads to his followers to go yeah punish them for not agreeing with us. Look you do not have to agree with anyone, but I think most good people never try to punish people for disagreeing with them. That is called pure hate.
Even if you agree with Trump and he does not like the way you look, to black to dark even to white but ugly in his eyes he is going to say something to get his sycophants to destroy their honest lives. That is pure hate.
America has always had its problems in that regard but had good enough leaders to where we tried to squash that kind of thinking.

@septabchips Fair but most people I ever met were never mental until the world changed.

@crossbones27 I think the changes in the world have certainly added to the pressure people face, but mental health struggles have always existed, even when people didn't talk about them openly. Sometimes we only become aware of how much others are struggling when life gets harder.

Exactly. You never really know what someone is carrying inside, and judging them without understanding their situation can make things worse. A little kindness and understanding can go a long way, especially when someone is already struggling.

I would have to agree with what you said... I never thought that I would've had one because I am just an ordinary person doing ordinary stuff like "work"...my job requires me to be excellent and follow KPIs as such. And if you're doing this for 10 straight years without breaks or breather, it will take a toll on your health...which in my case, my mental health. I was clinically diagnosed in 2022 and from then it flipped the way I see people and less judgmental on the surface. It changed me on the inside.

Oh, do I ever agree with this post, Michael. We never, ever know what someone else might be going through, some people are very good at hiding their true feelings, their depression, their desperation. Kindness really does matter, and it goes a long way.

I don't have depression but sometimes I get in the mood to
just brain storm on my blogs I enjoy every so often when I have
something on my mind that helps me when I don't have any 1
to talk to.
