Our @FourWalls loves to tease me when she posts songs by them. I have no shame in posting puke face emojis in response.
1) Steely Dan--I just cannot with them. I used to work at The Gap and we'd have a monthly CD of music that we'd have to play. One September there were several Steely Dan songs on it and I heard them over and over and over again. That was it. I hated them. I mean if I can remember the month I heard them over 25 years ago then clearly they made an impact on me.
2) Rush--I just can't even follow the music. It is all over the place. No thank you. Maybe it sounds good to people who are high on pot or shrooms but not to me.
3) Stevie Nicks--oh her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Nope. Not listening to it.
Okay so who do I like?
1) Jimmy Buffett--love love love! I saw him in concert like 15+ times. I'm a total Parrothead. RIP JB
2) Toby Keith--I didn't know any of his songs the first time I saw him in concert but then I started listening to him and really got into it all. I saw him in concert at least 10 times. RIP Big Dog Daddy
3) Kenny Chesney--I had heard some of his songs before I saw him in the 1 concert of his that I attended. What a great show. He goes at it 100% the whole time. I've followed his releases in the years after and there's lots of good stuff. One thing that is cool is that he took pictures for an album (don't remember which one) on the boardwalk at Seaside Heights which is just across the bridge.
So there. Yes I hate some groups but I also am a fan of other performers.

I've noticed there are quite a lot of 'nopes' when you respond to @FourWalls posts.

That’s more because she has no clue who I’m talking about than the fact that she doesn’t like them.

Just now
The three you can’t stand wouldn’t be in any of my top ten either. Stevie Nicks appeals more to the menfolk I think, and I do quite like Rooms On Fire. I’m not a big fan of Fleetwood Mac either.
Of the three you do like: Ive only heard of Jimmy Buffet, and he wouldn’t make my top ten either.
I would have had you down as a 90’s girl. Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M. and possibly Shaggy?
