Dream or Reality

When I woke up I heard the door bell, then I heard rapping on the door. I alerted my grandson and he went down to check. No one there. He thinks I was dreaming. I think the doorbell could have been a dream but I am sure I heard the rapping.
Now I am feeling very weird. Wouldn't you after such an experience? He said he has been feeling some weird energy all day. He is sensitive to such things.
Hmm. Now I am questioning everything.

You could've still been dreaming and your mind could've imagained it. Sometimes when you first wake up, your brain doesn't think so and you need extra time for it to catch up.

I understand but I am so sure I heard it, not in sleep mode. Weird experience.

@celticeagle THat's not unusal. WHen it's happening, it can and does feel very real. But if your grandson said he didn't see anything then nothing was there. Would there have been a reason for someone to stop by? Is the doorbell a video doorbell?

I think it was a weird friend my daughter has been getting weird messages from. I don't think she is taking her medication consistently.

@celticeagle I get that regularly, waking up thinking have heard the doorbell and knocking. It is creepy but I just dismiss it now.
