It Seems I May Not Be Crazy After All

Yesterday I posted about the weird experience I had had when just waking up. Someone knocking. I think we have determined that it was an ex friend of my daughter. She is bipolar and it seems like she doesn't take her medication consistently. She banged on the door as opposed to a normal knock. She has really shown herself to be rather looney and has lashed out emotionally at my daughter on more than one occasion. It's sad to see these types who are rather nice people when on their meds who become lunatics and even a bit scary when they aren't taking them. But I think that's who it was.

Personally, I think she should be reported to some kind of health officials before something really tragic happens,

If she continues in the direction she's in she may end up in jail. Who do you report it to though?

@celticeagle according to the Internet If you encounter a young person who is alone and not taking their bipolar medication, it's important to report your concerns to a trusted adult or mental health professional. You can also contact local mental health services or crisis hotlines for guidance on how to proceed safely and effectively.

That must have been quite unsettling, especially when you had just woken up. I can understand why you are concerned, given what has happened between her and your daughter in the past. It is sad when someone is struggling with their mental health, but that does not mean others should have to put up with frightening behaviour.

Yes, my daughter doesn't deserve that. She was always good to her.

I wonder about her. Hope she's okay. I almost called the police one time. She came banging and my daughter opened the door. She was yelling and screaming. Couldn't understand what she was directing at my daughter. If she hadn't left I would have called the police.

It's so sad that they think they are doing well and that they can start cutting back on their medication but it doesn't work like that. Once they stop, they're quickly back to square one.
