What is your age again?

So this is the stage where the shows take place, and last night my dad, stepmom, and me watched, What’s My Age Again? You took four duos, one child and one related adult, and asked them questions about each other. Whichever of the duos got the most points, won. What struck me was one of the questions to the child was, what kind of car does your family drive. One was a 2026 Honda CRV…very nice. One was a 2025 Dodge Ram, which was pretty darn expensive. We got to the third one, and the answer was, a Tesla?! What do these people do?! We’re talking a 32 year old mom (they asked age) and ten year old son…that family must have quite a two parent household. A mom of 5 with her 11 year old daughter ended up winning. The prizes were silly trophies, but it was sweet. Tomorrow is another show, I think 70s  music, like disco maybe? The kids will go nuts. Are you a game show fan? Do you remember Kids Say the Darndest Things?

I don’t remember the original version of Kids Say…Like you, I remember the version Cosby did before we knew he was a creep. It was gold.

Haha the Tesla part got me, i was also wondering what these people do for a living. That show sounds fun, and the mom of 5 winning is kinda sweet. Kids Say the Darndest Things was the best, i still laugh when i think about it.

I like game shows and I loved the disco music of the 70s. I was young in those years and I loved to dance.

I never watch TV any more. Growing up we sometimes used to watch game shows, I remember something similar called 'Mr and Mrs' where couples had to answer questions about each other.

I remember that show. It was funny Apparently single mom has a very good job, or lots of alimony and child support. Who knows? She could be up to her eyeballs in debt as well. I am not much for game shows, but I do like Jeopardy.

For all the fuss about rising prices etc, people still seem to be able to buy nice cars. That stage looks great.

That's an interesting game. I wonder that myself when I see so many homes here in Louisville over $500,000 with nice new cars in their driveways and I wonder how there are that many well-paying jobs enabling people to afford that lifestyle.
