Crazy weight fluctuations

I've written before about how my weight tends to bounce up and down between 10 pounds. There is no rhyme or reason to it. There are days when I can't eat anything and there are days when I want to eat everything in sight but the number on the scale never correlates to that.
I've always said that I'm fine with my weight as long as it is 180 pounds or less and I can still fit in my pants.
My dream weight is 160 but I don't stress over it. 2 days ago I weighed myself and the scale said 170 pounds. I sighed as that was higher than it has been lately but whatever. Yesterday I weighed myself and I was 162 pounds. Wut? I lost 8 pounds in 1 day? This morning I got on the scale and it still says 162 pounds.
I could see if the number changed because I was using different scales but they are coming from the same one in the bathroom. In any case I'm glad that they are closer to 160 than 170.

My ideal weight for my height, according to the BMI guidelines is 133 to 179 pounds. I am slightly over that, so I’m not concerned. 133 seems very low, and I don’t think I will ever be near that, unless I’m seriously ill.
For a female of height 5’6”, you should be between 115 and 154 pounds. I’m only guessing your height, but your extra weight is probably down to you being a wrestler in your former life.

Can’t help but wonder if the medications you’re on are causing it. A lot of medicines list weight gain or weight loss as a side effect.

I'm presuming you weigh at the same time each day? I fluctuate from day to day too but not that much.
