Trump said he was considering renaming the Atlantic Ocean

He said at a rally in South Carolina that called the CEO of Google and asked him if he could handle changing the name of the Atlantic Ocean. He claims that the CEO said no and that he wouldn't do it. Interestingly the Google CEO has denied the discussion happened.
Yes Trump could be lying because he lies like he breathes but personally I believe he did it. He has already demanded that they change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to Gulf of America and Lake Superior to Lake America. He has stated that New Mexico should be called New America. He also said a week or two ago that he was thinking about renaming either the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans after himself. For real.
I love how he thinks anyone other than his MAGA cult members will actually call them Lake America or Gulf of America. It is about as likely as most people calling Twitter "X". I mean Elmo bought the site so sure he has the right to change the name. Trump does not own large bodies of water.

Given that he’s taking credit for the cease fire the Pope brokered in Ukraine? Sure it happened.
Let’s talk legalities. LEGALLY, the Gulf of Mexico is only under jurisdiction of the United Stated for 12 nautical miles from the coast, so only those 12 miles are “the Gulf of America.” Same thing with the Atlantic Ocean.
I think we should rename every garbage dump in the US after him…except, as I said, even garbage has more dignity than that.

What is sad is a few months back I referred to The Great American Oceans East and West in a Trump comment. Jokingly. Jeez this guy is just lost at sea.
