I found my glasses

I thought I wrote about this yesterday but apparently not. I was napping on one of the loveseats in the front room. I had my glasses on and knew I had to take them off. I *thought* I took them off and put them on the coffee table. I'm pretty good about taking them off and putting them in a safe place before I fall asleep. Yeah um no. When the cleaning lady arrived and I woke up they were nowhere to be found. Both she and I checked all of the rooms. I was on my hands and knees looking under couches and chairs. I even checked inside the fridge! I was getting desperate because I really do need them these days to see things up close. For like the 15th time I was checking the cushions of the couch and I really dug in there. . . and found them! They were straight up under one of the main cushions that I was laying on. I have no idea how they got there. I am shocked that they didn't break because the frames are thin and delicate. In any case I'm relieved to have found them and intact to boot. I have an appointment for Wednesday for an eye exam and will order new glasses then. I need a stronger prescription after 2+ years. Then I will have these as a backup in case this fiasco happens again.
