Dear friends, I´m back from my evaluation with the nurse of the Senior Suites. It was a long talk, much longer than what doctors usually ask before they decide whether one is healthy or ill. She talked to me, made me repeat some words, made me draw some geometrical figuries with my trembling hand and then asked me what I had done in my life. I noticed that she was lefthanded as I am but did not say much although I always feel a sort of sisterhood for lefthanded people. When I was a girl, eons ago, my father had to go to my school every beginning of the school year to tell the principal that nobody should do anything to make me shed this bad habit. And up to now, I´m sure that I had no trouble because my father was a doctor and very handsome and half of the teachers were in love with him. Anyway, after I declined to pay extra in order to have someone put on my stockings, she declared me sane and ready for the apartment they have empty. I went to see it again with Marco and discovered that it was much better than what I remembered. There is a medium size fridge a tiny place to wash cups and dishes and a microwave oven. I prefer an electric normal oven and it can be done instead of having the microwave oven. I can also ask for some groceries online and they will deliver it to my room. I will start taking my things little by little as soon as I receive the payment for my house. Before that, I don´t dare spending much buying extra things or giving away except what I don´t use. the sun came out, Anita came to work and she washed sheets and towels. Everything has been perfect.

Good to know you're alive because you wouldn't have been able to make this post!

I am so glad it worked Marga. You can replace the microwave with a small real oven. I would do the same, I hate the microwave.

That's wonderful news. It's great that you can wash a few dishes and that you can have an electric oven. Everything is starting to come together for you.

The part about your dad going to school every year to protect your left hand got me... that's such a sweet picture. Glad the apartment turned out better than you remembered, sounds like a good fit fr.
