Happy Halloween

Happy Saturday and Happy Halloween Trick or Treating doesn't start here until 6pm this evening so I have other things to do before the fun begins. Our township only has trick or treating from 6pm to 8pm which is usually fine but I would assume that since it's a Saturday most kids would want to be out collecting candy most of the day. Brings me back to when I was a kid and we'd go out with a pillowcase and trick or treat for hours. My brother and I would come home with enough candy to last for months I've already had my coffee and Walmart will be coming with our grocery delivery within the hour. I have my menu planned for this weeks dinners which makes things so much easier than trying to figure it out every day. My oldest daughter will be coming over tonight for dinner which is our yearly tradition. My son in law will be giving out candy at our local fire department and my granddaughter is going to a party. I'm excited to see what costumes the kids will be wearing this year as we have some new families in the community, I know this day is going to fly by but I wanted to pop in and say hi. Tonight we turn the clocks back for daylight saving time so I really hope I get to enjoy that extra hour sleep. Hope everyone is having a good day/weekend

I don’t even know if we have official hours designated for trick or treating, but surely we must. It seems to start earlier and earlier every year, which is good. Norman is a college town, and we have a football game today. While I’m sure parents are aware of the traffic possibilities, I still would be very careful on where I trick or treated today/tonight. I know you’ll enjoy your evening with your other daughter coming over too! That makes me happy to hear. I’m finally got Sadie back so I’m ecstatic about that.

It must be fun to get trick or treaters. I used to go to moms to help her out but I haven't seen any treaters here in the 3 decades I've lived here and tonite I'll simply keep Roscoe indoors in case some local jokal gets 'cute', I hate that some teens will harm pets just cuz of this nite.

It sounds like fun up there. Enjoy! I don't think we even have any kids on this end of the street anymore. I never see the school bus now.

Good morning-you've been really busy already today. And having your weekly menu all planned, you are so organized. I made chicken stew last night and dropped biscuit mix into it so that there were biscuits in it when it was ready to eat. Have a great day today.

Happy Halloween to you. We enjoyed the extra hour sleep last Sunday. The days are getting cooler, but not very cold.

How exciting! I was at the mall this morning and there are many kids in costumes. Since we don't really celebrate that here, the malls have some trick or treat events and some stores gives candies to them
