Health Journey 2026 - Days 88 & 89 (Weigh In)

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I've meant to share my food/health journey and weigh in the last 2 nights but I got too tired to do it. Since I am up earlier today (thanks time change) I will share now. Weigh in - Starting - 242 Last - 218.2 Friday - 215 I did go down a bit more Saturday, but for the actual weigh in day I am 27 pounds down overall. I was hoping for more being at 3 months, but that is almost 10 pounds per month. Now, what did I eat Friday and Saturday? Friday -- Meal 1 - Sirloin steak cooked in beef tallow (about 8 oz steak) Meal 2 - Lil smokies sausages (2 servings) with a sauce of avocado mayo and SF bbq sauce Meal 3 - Sliced deli chicken and a gouda cheese stick Macros --1,168 calories, 6 carbs, 92 fat, 77 protein Saturday -- I was bad this day and decided to have a cheat day. After the holidays (so in the new year) going to try to stop that, I just love the carbs, so hard habit to break I guess Meal 1 - Raspberry uncrustable Meal 2 - Jack in the Box -- 6 nuggets and fries Dessert - Peanut butter crispy bar (like a rice crispy treat) Macros -- 1,550 calories, 153 carbs, 93 fat, 28 protein Yes, I way under did the protein and overdid the carbs. My blood sugar did not do too bad surprisingly, the highest I think I saw was the 180s. Normally I would shoot over 200 quickly. My weight is up a bit today, but I know to expect that. Maybe I will be back down by my birthday...but then I got to enjoy what I want on my birthday right? lol. I don't really HAVE to, but we know I will. I just hope to lose a bit more by the time I go to my doctor in December (their scale always adds a few pounds it seems, so got to lose a bit extra even).

No idea what a Raspberry uncrustable is, but it sounds like something fruity and you usually avoid those things like the plague. Was it another birthday on Saturday? The good thing is you are losing weight and that’s what your aim is. Keep it up… as the actress said to the bishop.

It's a peanut butter and jelly sandwich pretty much lol. I like fruit jelly, long as there aren't seeds lol No it wasn't a birthday, but it was Halloween. Yes, I'm losing, though I know it'd be faster without the cheats.

Not bad. It certainly could have been much worse. I think it’s been pretty good good.

Jack in the box is certainly not on the diet plan!

No, but I still have a carb day every once in a while. In the new year, I'm going to try to go 90 days without a cheat, but we'll see if I can last. I never thought I'd stick to this lifestyle this long though so maybe I can do it too

27 pounds down in 3 months is solid and the blood sugar staying in the 180s after a cheat day says a lot... your body is clearly getting better at handling it. Keep going cuz that december doctor visit is gonna be a good one, and no stress on the bday meal imo.
