I turned on a little heat

I am wearing warm pajamas and I did adjust the thermostat to 69 degrees.We are supposed to drop to 41 tonight. Oh year, I am wearing socks and warm house shoes too.
Maybe I will feel like baking some tomorrow, just for warmth.
It is past midnight and I am ready, I guess, to crawl under the covers. Good night folks.

After four weeks, the repair guy finally got my heat going Monday. (Actually only 27 days)
And that was an ordeal that most likely ended up costing several hundred more than it should have. But at least I have heat.
Baking - yeah, I popped my oven door open a few times here a week or so ago when it dropped into the 30s overnight. House was a bit chilly in the mornings.

Sounds like my long wait on AC repair this summer. It was exactly 30 days by the time the parts arrived and someone fixed it. I am glad yours is fixed.

It won't be long winter will be knocking on our doors
& the heaters & fire places will be started up, I hope
everyone got enough firewood & cleaned their chimneys out.
