Have you done any Christmas shopping yet?

It is only about 6 or 7 weeks away. I did buy something the other day on the spur of the moment which will be a Christmas gift. I have looked at a couple of things as well, but haven't bought them yet. My sister's birthday comes first so I am kind of focused on that. I know the things that I want to get for Christmas, I just need to wait for the right time to buy. What about you? Shopping yet?

I have plans, but only 1 gift for each of the girls so far.
I had a couple of photos made into a puzzle for each of them from their first day of school.
I thought it would be fun for them to put together a puzzle of themselves on a cold, snowy January day.
Tomorrow we are planning on going to a beach town about an hour away to a couple of adorable Christmas shoppes.
But I am looking for decor items and maybe some specialty jams or jellies.

@snowy22315 No, since we work from home we don't have to worry about that.
They are raising funds right now as the company is going to make Christmas packages up for 100 seniors, I don't really get why they are doing it for that group as the home that they live in is $7500 month for keep, and that is on the low end of the rooms. I will donate to the groups where they are not so well off. There is an organization called My Sister's Place. They take women in to provide them with a secure place to stay should they lose their home or are not safe. They provide outreach programs to help them build their self esteem, upgrade and gain new skills and even land a job so that they are independent in our society again. They gather gift cards next month, those are the part of our population that I feel confident in assisting.

I definitely have Christmas on my mind and trying to make a list of what I want to buy for everyone., I have just a few little things for my daughters stocking but no big gift buying yet,

@Marilynda1225 I am sure it can get expensive. I don't like spending the money either. If it was up to me, I probably wouldn't opt to send or receive presents

@snowy22315 I have a love hate relationship with Christmas. I love all the whoopla surrounding the holidays but since I have a big family there's a lot of expense that comes with it. I do try to save every month once the new year rolls around so I'm not strapped for cash,

I have got a couple of things. Now I’m not working I have a lot fewer presents to get …..it was always the unwritten law that you buy for those you work with, and as I worked over many classes that meant a lot of presents !
Also, sadly, I have lost a couple of friends and family members …..
I have made a list though of what I want to get ….i just work through the list getting a couple of things at a time.

Well, a couple of things like deliveries can wait until closer to the date. I want to get a floral arrangement for sis and bro in law and have it delivered..so that can be closer to Christmas.

Both friend and son eat salmon a lot so I couldn't resist the jar of salmon seasoning I saw the other day.
