Do you think battered wives should stick it out?

kynni204 @kynni204 (2031) • United States 1 Apr 07

I have a relative who is being beat up constantly by her husband. She won't leave him cause she says the Bible talks against divorce. What do you think?

5ID3wind3r Breeze, your loving, God-inspired and common-sense attitude -- along with the other similar responses expressed here by obviously good, God-loving women -- are very heartening and line up perfectly with the Gospel. And you are truly, truly appreciated. But...

vokey9472 I think she should leave him. When a man beats on a woman it is because he is a coward and a bully. He beats a woman because he is stronger and knows that even if she fights back, he will still overpower her and win. The talks against divorce, but it also...

shannon76 The bible also talks about a man loving his wife like Jesus loves the church. But is he doing that? I didn't think so.. I would say (and I am sure that any pastor would agree) that if they have tried counseling and he still has not turned from this, then...

What is your cat's true identity?

mossjanicelynn @mossjanicelynn (1240) • United States 30 Mar 07

If you could name a famous actor/actress to perceive your cat's true identity what would it be? My Prissy would be Audrey Hephurn because she is so Prissy and so funny about things being just right.
