Judy Evans @sissy15 There doesn't seem to be a 'middle ground'. It seems with everything, the pendulum swings much too far one way then starts to swing back but all the way the other way. It never stops in the middle for too long.

Judy Evans @sissy15 Unfortunately men are very loath to make too much fuss of young children - or any fuss at all - for fear of the parents getting upset. It's a tricky path around children at the moment and I don't suppose it's going to get any better.

celticeagle Those people in the video you talk about are lucky to have such neighbors. Your son sounds like a remarkable fellow. I sure agree with you about taking things for granted. Doing little things for others is what life is all about.

celticeagle I'm sure you would see signs if your son was having a problem with the amount of attention he is getting. Love and showing affection is very important to kids.
