msdivkar I don't think so because I do develop cramps sometimes sleeping on wooden bed. After all we don't sleep on wood or iron there is mattress in between.

Notlilie I don't think it's related but who am I to tell. I'm not even professional. But to answer your question, I don't think so. I sleep in a wooden bed. Yet sometimes I do get the cramp.
