I recently began a new health regime, well not entirely new. I cleaned up my diet a lot - eating good food - fruit and vegies, nuts and good oils. I walked a lot, in fact about 6 kilometers a day. I was reasonably healthy but...

Would you like to have a discussion that's not about the weather?

Jewels @Tetchie (2932) • Australia 15 Jul 09

Skimming over threads looking for the one to answer that doesn't bore you silly. How often do you have uninteresting conversations with your friends, your parents, your neighbors? Be honest, what would you rather be talking...

danishcanadian I am lousy at smalltalk, and all the people who know me well enough know, and those who do not already know this will learn fast enough. LOL When I come back from the coffee shop there are usually a couple of neighbours (always the same two) sitting there....

Why is Imagination not something real?

Jewels @Tetchie (2932) • Australia 15 Jul 09

Is a figment of someones imagination only called so because only one person saw it? Ponder that and tell me your thoughts.

cobrateacher Hi, tetchie! Even in the most basic philosophy course, this is an opening topic. What it boils down to is that our world is whatever we think it is, and for that reason, flights of fancy are sort of like experiments in existence...

Third Eye Experiences - what do you see or feel when you meditate

Jewels @Tetchie (2932) • Australia 15 Jul 09

Your Third Eye is a metaphysical point between the eyebrows. It's used mainly in meditation as a way of centering and involuting or going inside yourself, but can also be used during the day for an heightened level of awareness....
