I was going to write something light this morning, but given what happened in Brussels Belgium, my muse has left me. Another terrorist attack. Islamic State has claimed responsibility. Thirty or so people dead so far. I hope...

I am not saying that knowledge is not power. It certainly IS power but not in all circumstances. The attacks that happened in Brussels, it's devastating. My Heart goes out to those who lost their lives, and for those who lost...

The school was over by 12 PM that day. I had forgotten to inform my mother to pick me up by noon as usually my school ends by four. I was seven years old. My friends started leaving the campus one by one. By 2 Pm I was all alone...

Don't know why--maybe because I was on such a high yesterday (my Friends told I was 'nauseating' and to 'shut up'--all lovingly--about how great I was feeling and saw life) but I found the following blurb laugh out loud funny:...

Once upon a time, you could put a television antenna on your roof and watch television for free. Those days are gone. I know there are some people who still use an antenna, either on the roof, or inside the house. There are even...

We've been watching Naked and Afraid all day on Discovery Channel. It's very interesting to watch how they survive all kinds of challenges. I love to watch, file back what I see ... for a 'just in case I need it". Do you watch...

Gloria Faye Brown Bates One gets used to not really noticing the nudity ... it's interesting how they make fire, and shelter, and survive the harsh climate, and such. Yes, their bodies get eaten up by insects. Also, they get hurt sometimes... I hate to see that.

I always do and I keep an eye out for it too. It's great to find quarters but I also pick up dimes and nickels and even pennies. Pennies from heaven and all that jazz. The change I find is saved in a coffee can. When it gets full...

ElizabethWallace I think people who use the pronoun "we" are able to get away with not watching TV. But for single people, it provides company sometimes.
