LauraElrod started a new discussion called cockateils in birds. 3 weeks ago Hi all you bird lovers i have 2 tiels that are about to be about 5 months old. i got one at thanksgiving and one at Christmas. my problem is this , we are suppose to feed them fresh fruits and veggies and mine refuse to eat them. but they will eat them dry but never fresh. people are making what they call mash. so i tried that and it was a wastes of money. does anyone have any other ideas?
LauraElrod responded to a discussion called Thinking of my mom in animals. 3 weeks ago i love hummingbirds. i have a feeder and i love to sit and watch them come a.nd go. they say they pass buy every year in the same path going from north to south. they are great to watch. they also will fight each other to get food. you make make you own sugar water with red food coloring and save money
