Do you know a really good discussion your freind started that had few responses?

I know we all start some that get lost. I have seen many that are REALLY good, but only get 2-3 responses. Even bringing them back up does not help.
Maybe it is the title that turns people off, maybe something else.
A friend of mine started one that is really cool. It is a javascript that you enter in the address bar and it makes the photos on that page move around.LOL Like a trip around the page. It only has 3 responses. I would love for you all to see it and try it out. It is harmless and I got no ill effects from doing it.

Check it out and then post any that you think should get more attention. Please post ones that someone else started and you think it is a good one. I know we all think our own are the best out of all the others!LOL

Thanks for bringing up this subject. I just want to say to some of my friends if I have offended anyone out there that was not my intention. My husband and I were discussing politics and he came up with what I thought were some great ideas for a discussion so I put them on here and I think I offended some people. Please accept my apology. Oh don't fret.I do not answer any politics or religion threads because of the fuss that usually happens from them. I did read them though and rated them both with + & + I believe that we as Christian should follow the laws made for us, but some things are way to far out there to even consider. I admire Bush because he is our leader, but I do not always agree with him. I do support our troops completely though!
Do not be afraid to try this, it really is harmless. He also has another if you go to his profile and look. I am out the door now, or I would look it up for you!

I saw that discussion, tammyr and I rather not try those scripts. I am paranoid by nature lol and I wouldn't want to wreck my computer over something possibly malicious. :P

I did it and the only thing wrong with it is that he said to go to a site you hate. It make you think it will harm something.
All it does is make the photos on that page spin around. I have done it several times, with several sites. I searched it on other sites also. I have no fears or would not have posted this.
Read my post and his to me. It is harmless even oldbuddy did it!

I see that all the time, I know about that. alot of people do that, to get people to look at that discussions. It is a good Idea.

Quite often the really good discussions get completely ignored, and the crap ones get lots of responses. Just the way that Mylot works - I suppose! I don't know what makes people chose some to respond to, and leave the others alone.
Most of the discussions I start, only get a few responses - even most of my friends ignore them.

I have a few of those tammyr. Can we delete or change them all together? That would be nice if we could. Three responses is good for some of them. What if you have a few with O?

If they really need to be deleted contact mylot and tell them. I have done that for one I posted 2x on accident.
If you want responses on them, pm me a link to them, and I will check them out!
Also some have started threads about this. If you search 'no responses" you should find some. They trade off links to get responses.

Yes,i saw a lot posts not just from my friends list but all over mylot and i am amazed myself those don't get a bunch of responses because is great...
I guess here is important to be popular too(i don't know i try to guess)...i am sure in real life exist great singer but which sing just in bath and no one know about their talents,and they maybe can sing more good than pavarotti...but they are not famous...i don't know...
maybe is title or maybe just have to be more popular...
but i agree with you,some are really good...

I'll be honest .. I see discussions that should be deleted get 100's of replies .. I see discussions that are excellent get virtually no replies AND deleted .. I haven't a clue anymore what to write or not write .. so I am not surprised that a good discussion didn't get many replies ..
We are all getting scared to answer these days ..

I was deleted some people off my friends list this morning do I could better keep up with some others and when I hit the delete on another person, the page jumped and you were in the line of fire. I do hope that you will for give me and re-accept my request.

I totally accept your point. Many discussions which has good thought in it stay unnoticed. At times such discussions dont get even a single response. I have been a victim like this many a times. I will start discussions with some good thought, but finally i will get only one or two response. I faced this recently too. The discussion was started with some good message, but finally no use in starting such discussions :(

I really do think that the titles have a lot to do with getting responses. There are so many discussions that we just scan them and pick those that catch our eye and interest. If it isn't kind of a catchy title or a subject that interests us, then it does get lose.
I don't get a lot of replies to my discussions, but that's okay. I always respond to the people who post to them. Those responses don't count and it takes time to do that, so I'm glad there aren't too many!
I will check out that link and I think you are thoughtful to pass on the information about an interesting discussion.

some frnd are borring to be with and of course they dont have enough time to read some messages, its hurt but that the reality, but if you talked about money,, , they will stir at you whole night and day even with out slepp...... thats a fact....
