Recent trips to New Zealand and Scotland have left me more amazed at how trees and flowers can grow to be so beautiful on their own. When was the last time you smelled the flowers? If only everyone had the time to commune with nature more often!

i am a nature lover. it is a warmth feeling when i see trees, flowering plants, mountain views, waterfalls, and animals in action. our place is blessed with all these kinds of living creatures as well as beautiful sceneries. this really is an exhilarating emotion if you are surrounded by such animated subjects, the trees and flowers growing in the gardens and in parks of the city makes one exclaim that God is really wonderful!

i love plants and flowers and so are my mom and brothers. and in our yard, we have lots of plants... trees and flowering plants. we feel closer to nature this way and we feel fresh. the beauty of plants and nature really makes us healthier. maybe because we see live plants around us and we inhale fresh air. i hope people will learn to plant them, too. it's worth it.

I commune with nature every day and I don't forget to thank God for giving us such a beautiful world. I just hope man does not destroy it.

Everyday- I love flowers- Spring time is my favorite because of all the new life that pops up out of the ground! I’m amazed at how pretty the flowers are- My daughter and I cut lilacs every couple of days and put them in the kitchen- big vase on table- They really smell up the house- I love it when the trees start getting their leaves back—it seems to happen so quickly- then in the Fall they change colors and fall off- Nature is truly amazing!

I really do love all forms of nature and wildlife, I think that is because my nan always used to sit with me and point out the different birds in teh garden. Trees, flowers, nature can all be so different, from the abundance in spring to the sparseness of winter, but in each season there is something on offer. I love photographing various aspects of nature and I am always on the lookout for picture opportunities. There is so much destruction of our wonderful environment that has gone on and continues to go on. Even down to the fact that councils don't bother to maintain the various mini plantations any longer, we used to have a row of neatly preserved rose bushes alongside our house, those were dug up and replaced by creepers horrible messy ground hogging plants that don't flower, that do attract rubbish that the wonderfully caring population of the UK tends to dispose of on their streets. Those unspoilt (largely) areas you've been to are wonderful. Long may they survive.

This is SO true! For some reason communing with nature is SO good for us! As you can see I heartily agree. I've long thought this. Ideally we should all have our own space big enough for a nice nature yard, even if it's small, so we can commune with nature, at least a little, regularly. [If we're not too busy on the computer, that is!] :))

I am amazed by nature every day. I love to see the beauty of a spiders web covered in dew. I look at the flowers and trees every day and appreciate their beauty. Also the birds are fascinating. There's a poem which contains the words, 'waht is this life if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.' I can't remember who wrote it but it helped me to realise that there is beauty all around if we just look.

yup. nature brings beauty to every little thing there is. it's very amazing... every little stuff in it has a story to tell. and true. there is beauty in everything we see if we only know how to appreciate them.

I love nature. i am always checking out to smell the flowers, checking to see if I can see any wildlife and just enjoying nature in its glory. I think nature is one of the most beautiful things on this earth. If we don't take care of. there won't be anything to enjoy after awhile. Than imagine how bleak life would be.

not all people appreciate those trees, those flowers, those birds, those butterflies around us. they don't see the importance of them in our lives. but it's good to know that there are still people like us who loves life more because of these gifts of nature. i hope most people will start appreciating and taking care of them, too.

I pay a lot of attention to trees and flowers because i'm always looking for the perfect photo. I've found that having my camera with my makes me more appreciative of nature and i often go on long walks just to look around. I wish i had been into photography when i visited New Zealand, i'll just have to go back sometime! And luckily i'm back up in Scotland next week!

the last time i smelled flowers was when someone sent a bunch to me! ok maybe that's not so accurate. i bought myself a huge chrysanthemum to place in my office. it smelt heavenly. especially when you like chrys tea. i also visited NZ recently. took lots of photos of flowers. it's SUCH a beautiful country. i love lavender. and roses. not so much lillies. think they smell too overpowering. which is your favorite flower scent?

wow, nice place to go to huh.. well my mother is biggest fan of flowers and all that green thingy. we do have lots of lots of flowers in my parents house and my father keeps on arranging it cause my mother would buy or ask a different kinds of flower somewhere and she would just plant it anywhere and my father dont like that. hehe.. personally im not a nature lover. i would appreciate of course but its not that i would spend time cultivating stuff and talking to them sometime. lol. when i see some unusual flower or plant somewhere i would say 'wow that's cute' and thats it. i would not ask someone to give me a seed or whatever that i could have it on my own place as well.

with trees - trees on our yard
our yard at home is filled with flowers and trees. we're always at one with nature everyday of our lives. and it always makes us feel fresh all the time. seeing those trees and beautiful flowers everyday is one good way of letting us know how beautiful the world is.

I consider myself to be someone who is very close to nature. I take time out everyday to go outside and sit down somewhere simply to take in the beauty and majesty all around me. For me, my spirituality is not found in a place of worship, it is found in all things natural. I connect to "the powers that be" when I'm immersed in nature and my mind is free from all the things that occupy it throughout the day.

Here in Alberta it's too early for most flowers and some trees are just starting to bud, hey that's my name, haha,. I live in a city, but i get out to the country and nature when i feel the need to leave the hustle and bustle of city living. I know i will be going somewhere soon because i have itchy feet. No it's not athletes foot! LOL! I happy for you that you enjoyed your trip! Take care Emilieespino.

In my home town at Oriental Mindoro, where trees and wild flowers grow in abundance I can say its beautiful growing in their own way in the heart of a natural surroundings for them. We have a rainforest in the mountain of Halcon which acting as the divider of Mindoro Oriental and Occidental. I was always visiting it when I was a child and enjoyed it for most of my childhood years.

Flowers and plants fascinates me, i am collector of flowers like euphorbia, anturiums, orchids... which eventually turned me to be an owner of a small garden and landscaping business in our country. Out of that hobby i have given myself the opportunity to design and express my ideas through landscaping....you can visit some of my works at www.plantoasis.multiply.com...
