Some religion (name withheld to avoid unending bickering) believes that Christians worship 3 gods. When fellow christian tells them its not true, they actually think the christians are lying to them. this has always perplex me. What kind of idiot would tell other people WHAT they think other peoples religion is about. Why would they aregue with christians about something they have no clue about? I finally found out why they INSISTS christians worship 3 gods. apparently THEIR holy book says that! imagine that another religion's holy book trying to explain another religion. Now i know why they insist christian worship 3 gods...if they acknowledge christians worship ONE God, then their holy book is wrong! imagine that! a holy book thats wrong isn't so holy at the end of the day. when faced with this, their other explaination is the Bible is "corrupted". Now imagine this!! The Bible was written by authors who seen Jesus with their own eye, eat with Him and walk with Him. ...and the other religion thats trying to "teach us" that we worship 3 gods, their "holy" book is written 150 years after their prophet's death!

I've no idea about the 3 gods thing, but Christians often tell Pagans that they are worshipping Satan, and think we are lying when we say we don't. so yeah. What kind of idiot would tell other people WHAT they think other peoples religion is about. Why would they aregue with Pagans about something they have no clue about?

not last time I checked either. if they are ex Pagans, well I've known one person go from Paganism to Christianity, and she obviously had some idea what she was talking about. on the other hand you get a handful of Christians that say they were Pagans and had to kill babies and so on. which seems to me that it's made up to spread lies.

The concept of the trinity - triune God - is hard enough for Christians who believe it, to understand. How can we expect those who don't believe to have any idea of what it means?

true. at least in Christianity you can ask whats going on so we extend the courtesy to everyone..unlike some religion YOU CANNOT QUESTION the religious book else you DIE.

There are lots of thing that people of other faith believe in, other than Christians worshipping 3 Gods. Its our duty as Christians to make these people aware of the fact.

There are many reasons, why certain religions believe what they do about Christians.Of course we only worship one God,But, in my opinion there are many religious and non religious people who, out of pure ignorance, fear, jealously, spite and pure arrogance, will say and do all they can to somehow, think we will see their side of things and egotistically believe that their beliefs and pratices are the ultimate "truth" and we should see it that way. Little do they know, that the path their choosing to take, will lead to NOWHERE.For anyone to think that if they insult your religion enough , or try to force their beliefs on you, or just outright condemn you for your beliefs, show themselves to be exactly what they are,FOOLS.

the ssimplest way to explain the trinity to someone who dosent understand it is the following to my parents --------------I am a child to my spouse --------------I am a wife/huspand to my child ----------------I am a parent yet in reality i am still one just myself so it is with God father son Holy spirit but still just one GOD!

Yea, Christians believe in one God, but it differs with pure one God concept of other religions like Islam, Jewish, etc. Quran states about Jews and Christians specially, there are reasons to say about that, I'm not arguing, As per Islamic belief, Jewish & Christian belief are related the teachings of God and prophets of God, that is the reason Quran say about Jewish and Christian religion. Majority of Christians believe in trinity, there are christians do believe in trinity too. I tried to understand the trinity concept of One God, I didn't understand, can you explain it clearly what each means and then how it is one God ?

Typing mistake: there are Christians do NOT believe in trinity too. We Muslims believe that Jews and Christians are from the people of Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus. We are not forcing our belief to any Christian or Jew. Christians says Mohammad is not a prophet of God, he is a false prophet and Quran is not the words of God, how this opinion can be justified, if the belief of Muslims towards Christians & Jews can't be justified ?

It was my question to you: you reversed it back again :-o Christians insists Mohammad is not a prophet, and saying Muslims insists God is one and Jesus as a prophet of God. I asked how the only one part of insisting Mohammad is not a prophet of God can be true ? I said Muslims do not forces it on Christians, it's our belief, as you believe Jesus as a God and trinity.

you claim, "Christians says mohammad is not a prophet of God" but yet you still insist that Jesus is a prophet and not God. Christians says Jesus is God. Lets just agree that the Christian God and Muslim God are not the same God. My God preaches that we forgive, Matt 18:21, your God say to kill unbelievers as in surah al-taubah 9 verse 5. just different religion and different God. now lets not start bickersing again . i just got over one with msbayrakdar. have a nice day.

I am an EX-Christian and this baffled me as well. As I was learning about the bible I was told that we worship 1.The Father 2. The Son and 3. The Wholy Ghost which I always thought was 3 God's since they are always talked about seperately. When I asked the pastor at the time about it he said that they all represent 1 God yet the son is Jesus and is a completely diffrent being so then why cant the other 2 be completely diffrent beings also? This is 2 of many reasons I switched from the Christian religion to the Pagan religion becuase Ibelieved there was more then 1 god and a Goddess for that matter. I never understood why the bible said Adam was made in his image yet where did her get Eve's image from?

One of the problems about read the bible is not understanding the way the jewish people think and write. We need to underatand them to really understand the bible because they wrote it. Knowing and understanding ancient history is a big help too.

Well, the Trinity can be a tricky concept to some. Even I don't understand it completely. Luckily my beliefs don't require me to lol. I really don't have the knowledge or resources on hand to try and explain it in detail either. All I can say is that I serve one almighty God at the end of the day!!

(new thought) Although, maybe somethings are better left unknown...Our minds cannot fathom such a concept perhaps.

it is an irony of all ironies when people discuss, argue, debate and do a lot of super imposing on the truthfulness of the written scriptures of the Holy Bible when the common agenda of all who read, admire, believe and immersed on it is on FAITH. it is unlikely for you or us to question someone's interpretation of the scriptures and it how he believes in it, when all who touches about the writings of the bible is vested on his or her own faith.but nobody ever questions who among us ever followed a single teaching lest in action in his/her daily life. we only love to listen, argue and debate but never allow ourselves to practice it. its like escaping from one's responsibility and duty to perform by having a lot of unqualified questions so as to avoid its practices to perform.

I don't really think that one religion tries to tell another anything, as religion is a set of beliefs and ergo cannot speak. Religion and the way it is practiced is different for every person-whether they be Christian or Buddhist-and should really be a private thing. The ambiguity of the post and the accusatory nature confuse me and I'm a little hung up on what it is getting at, but whatever. The bottom line is believe what you will and no one is going to stop you.

1st of all i want to say to all of you that i am a christian.. Im from the country of philipphines that all we know all of the people here was christians.. But i dont believe in christianity co'z im wealth on my own beleif. When I study my country history and how magellans discover our country i found that spaniards are the one who brings christianity here in our country. So i ask my self if magellans dont discover philipphines we dont have a religions as well as christians. Where just influence of their own beliefs of GOD as a christian.. So i dont believe that we need to worship ONE GOD as a christians.. Our freedom to choose what we need to worhip is in our own belief's eventhough we are a christians

The Catholic Christians believe in the Holy Trinity. Three persons, but one God. The Father, The Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. Three persons but One. It is called a mystery by great Catholic Scholars because we cannot really fully understand whats going on. The Christian church is not a solid Church, some believes in the Holy Trinity, some don't.

The mystery of Deity is such an unfathomable knowledge for us humans to dig. Someone has said that if humans can measure God and understand everything about Him then He ceases to be God. Some would even say that God's foolishness is even wiser than our wisest wisdom.

I am christian, I don't worship three Gods. Other might can say due to lack of knowledge. But there is only one GOD for Christian. Other might confused about The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. To come to any conclusion, they first need to read Holy Bible.
