The Audacity Of This Person

Hi friend ..I am newbie..so how can this actually happened? Definitely that person knows he will be caught...it not like you can just disappear away after stealing something..I will never do such thing..normally I post discussions..I try to search if anyone has posted the same stuff before..but to copy and paste the entire discussion..I simply can't imagine...

Wow wolfie, I have never seen it quite so bad and obvious.. chit at least try and change something or take the name out for gods sake!!!!! I reported as well. Unbelievable. Its easier to just come up with stuff yourself, or for that matter don't start discussions just post!

Good gracious .. don't folks realise they will get 'caught out' .. how daft can they get .. I had this happen to me when I first signed up .. it 'is' flattering .. I suppose .. that someone feels your work is good enough to be copied and pasted and made their own .. but it's also INFURIATING .. and I always, always, ALWAYS report folks who do it .. not just to me but whenever I spot it happening ..

Oh My Gosh! I am glad that someone told you about this. I'll be upset too and hope mylot do something about this and come to think of it how did he/she manage to copy and paste since it's not 500 and besides that he used your name Wolfie instead of pinalpatel stand up ect,ect...anyway I do remember that you had that discussion and I think I did response to it. What a shame what is with these people and yet you said the month of June is your bad month well buddy I belive you .Thanks for telling us about this.Oh no I just checked his profile and yet he DID steal all of your discussion now I am getting mad. Hope Mylot do something about this.

Hello,wolfie,sorry to hear that he had copied your whole discussion with your name still on the discussion.His other discussions are also copied from other people?? I think we should do something together to clear this. I have not had this experience personally but some of my friends have been copied by the other people,they got help from their friends and not long after,the people who copied their discussions had been banned from mylot. No worry.

It seems the other discussion has been deleted. I'm sorry, I would have liked to see what they copied. People have a lot of nerve, or they're just lazy.

now, Why would someone try to take advantage of one of the most popular posters in here???? Let it be known that Wolfie has friends here and we look out for each other. If you cheat here, you get reported here...sorry wolfie that someone would do this..it is so unfair.....

LOL! Well by the time I got to this thread, the offender had been deleted, but I would just say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!". You are a great and successful poster wolfie, - so take it as a compliment. As for me - you know me - if it happened to me I would just laugh!!! Warped sense of humour - that's me:-))

Lol.. That's just pathetic to copy someone else's and pretend that they did it is just stupid. I hope the person got banned. (I also hope mylot do something to prevent this) reminds me of da (d-art) where shameless artists rip others and nothing ever happens. That is disgraceful and you've definitely done the right thing in reporting it. Some people are so lazy and at worse, theives. I've always liked your discussions because they are things that I can relate to or feel that I've got something to add to, some people need to learn about plagarism.

That's ridiculous. I added my complaint to the group. I just checked and they got deleted. Sometimes the system works! LOL

By the time I went to check the discussion was gone.Why would someone think they could get away with it?I just do not understand people sometimes! Hugs

I am outraged for you, my friend....I certinaly hope that myLot tkes care of this...I do not understand the mentality of someone who would do this...... Thankfully, someone recognized this imposer and informed you with haste.... The one that you have listed the link to has already been deleted. It's too bad because I think I would have loved to see who it was. That's horrible that this person did that. I hope he/she gets banned.

Hi this looks like it has been dealt with which is good I think copying discussion questions is bound to happen on a huge site like Mylot, but copying all your answers thats definately not right thankfully this has now been dealt with.

Yep, I've had it happen also. On My Lot,I was notified by the poster who felt bad because he gave a best response to the wrong posting. So, the guy not only copied and pasted my response in the same discussion but he got a "Best Response" for it. I reported it to My Lot and they removed his posting and took back the "best Response". It was even worse when I had it done to me on eBay. I'd posted a rare book and when I noticed the bids were falling off, I knew someone had posted the same item on top of me and was siphoning off my bids. I choose not to read the other listing until my listing expired and lo and behold the creep had copied my entire description right down to a spelling error (I'm a lousy speller and I don't alwaysuse Spellcheck). Anyway, he not only took away bids but he stole my description to do it. Talk about adding insult to injury! I reported him to eBay and they gave him a warning and took down his listing. At least these web sites stand by their policies against plagiarism. It's interesting what you said about maybe feeling flattered. That was my first thought when I heard about the guy on My lot and that feeling lasted only until I read his cut and paste. Then, it was anything but flattering. These people are about as nervy and crass as they come and will stop at nothing. They need to be reported.

oh i missed it wolfie. mylot have already deleted it. you should be flattered they took your discussions as it goes to show how good they are mate. i have never had my discussions stolen before

The discussions have been removed now you'll be glad to know, I can't believe people actually think they'll get away with so blatantly stealing someone else's discussion. As far as I know it's never happened to me but I don't start a lot of discussions really. In a way it's flattering I suppose that they thought your discussion was worth stealing, but un-ethical all the same.

I have never encountered this situation because I have started only 5 discussions here.But if I encounter this problem,I will be angry. There is someone who is shameless and I think Mylot.com should kick the one out of here.
