Can You Really Put A Curse On Someone?

As a Wiccan, I believe in magic. So I believe you can curse a person. But a true Wiccan would never curse anyone. We believe that what you do comes back three times so you couldn't afford the Karma of a curse. Besides the main tenant of our religion is to harm none. And FYI its a pentagram, and that is a protection symbol and the symbol of the Wiccan faith. It is not exclusively used for evil.

Hi Wolfie,I suppose you can put a curse on some one, but why? To get even for a wrong doing? as repayment?because you have been hurt? I can tell you that to put a curse on someone is easy, but what ever you curse them with will come back on you ten fold. That is why it is so much better to put a blessing on some one. And the best way to get even with some one is to say I wish for you a thousand time what you wish for me. But wouldn't it be so much easier to accept that a person has caused you harm, weather intentional or un intentional, and go on with your life. Revenge is not a thing to take lightly, because it does have a way of finding its way home. A lot of our problems are self induced because we are kept so wound up over an incident, that we can not or will not rest, and be cause of that we are the ones that become ill. Banishment is the best cure, if you literally banish a person or event from your life and really refuse to dwell on it. It can not control you every waking moment. This is called taking charge of your life. you have the say over who is allowed to have an impact, and who never makes it through the door.Would that not make more sense that putting a curse on some one, because you may put a curse on some one, but you do not get to say what the results are.

Being Wiccan and having cast spells before it is possible the thing is by casting a spell to harm someoen it can come back and bit you in the but 3times worse than what you sent out. A true Wiccan or Pagan will follow 1 major rule and that is to Do what ye will, and harme none.

I don't think so. Many people have told me I'd be cursed, I actually told a gypsy women that I thought she was scum because her children was so hungry that they was eating something I won't mention. I think so. My father learned many years ago not to fight with my mom just before he goes fishing. Whenever they would argue, he would have a bad day, the boat wasn't running, the weather got bad, or they didn't catch any fish. Now a days he tries to go out on a good note, but if not, mom gets a call telling her to take off the curse, I'm sorry! The human mind is a powerfull thing.

I think words spoken with intention have power. Plain and simple. It could be a "prayer" a "spell" or "incantation." I think the belief system or semantics we use matter little. Words used with intention have power. By intention I mean that the speaker (or thinker) of those words really wants that to be, is driven by love or hate or some other extreme emotion. I think emotion is the driving factor. Of course, belief is important, too. We need to believe that the words we speak carry the power to create a change. And, again, the words need to be spoken with intention. I don't think a pentagon is any more necessary than a crucifix. I think these are objects that focus us to help us create the intention. I also do believe in "karma," what goes around comes around. While sometimes we can't help it, by the nature of being human we send "bad thoughts" to another. But I do try to be careful of intentionally willing bad to another lest it come back to bite me! But I do think it is possible. Thoughts are things. And thoughts carry power. And some are better than others in using it.

Yes, it is possible to curse somebody, Wolfie, although I would never resort to it myself, as I abide by the rule of three, which means that all harm you put out comes back to you, threefold. I have proof of that too, emanating from other people. Also, I have been cursed myself, but I have protection around me now, so it didn't occur again, and I'm renewing my protection regularly to try and ensure it never does. Yes, I believe in dark magic. I don't call it black and white but there are those who practice it, and believe me, it does work. The pentacle or pentagon need not always come into it, I don't feel. There are other ways, but I won't go into them, because I'm fearful of dark magic. Power of thought has a lot to do with drawing energies and it's the release of the energies that makes a spell work, so yes, power of thought is a great factor too. There may be some truth to it. I've read through a book on black magic and it's quite scary. I think it's the devil's work and doing a curse on anyone would somehow bounce back on you.

I really don't think it's true. If someone said they put a curse on you and you might believe them and might be feeling the curse but it's in your head that is playing the tricks on you. If there is really a curse out there I sure wouldn't mind to use it on certain things :)

I think curse doesn't work anyway:) But when I am very angry with somebody, I will hate him/her for some time. As to curse, I don't do so. I don't believe such kind of things.

I don't really know if I believe in curses but it's possible. I do believe in karma though. If you do really bad things, eventually karma is going to come back to bite you on the butt. I also think that if someone says they will curse you, sometimes things can go wrong that would make you think that it's true. Like you would be klutzy all day or something like that. I think it does have to do with your mind playing tricks on you or something.

yeah it is possible to curse with someone. I believed not in magic but to something unknown. It is the power of thought. But it is based on how you will use your thought. Your thought can drives a thing to your desired position. it can cause an object to move, Based from my readings about the weird stuff, there is a plane that was not seen by the person who was not aware of this.This plane was manage by your thoughts by creating an energy. hmmm it's getting weirder.. I think the more you think. the more chance that it will happen.

It is not possible to curse or lay a spell on someone At least, it is beyond my belief. please correct me if I am wrong IF spell does exists, why don't people use it against those big time wicked people on earth, or use it to be the richest person in the world? Instead of using them on small tiny matters? But what I do believe is whatever bad you do, you will receive an equivalent or even worse karma in furture. There will always be a payback period as justice always reigns evil

i believe strongly in the power of suggestion. That can do so much either way. i don't know if you can actually put a curse on someone, but ifyou can, someone put one on me. i am a curse to myself and everyone else. i don't believe you can "send out" karma. That is not the definition of karma. Karma is getting back what YOU give, not what someone else gives you. If you do bad, you get bad in return. Unfortunately, sometimes we get big time bad for little bad done. DOes that make sense?

I'm not really sure about this but in my country especially in village area that far from the city some of the citizens there believe that.it can be in many forms af impact.I don't know where I have to stand but I think it could be happen and it can explained by metaphysic theory.
