MyLot reputation dropping a lot!

Hello everyone!
I've spent around 4 days without logging in here on myLot as I was out of town. When I came back, I noticed my reputation dropped from 98 to 73.
I got a message from a friend of mine asking me what happened and if I've done something wrong, but I think it's nearly impossible for me to do something wrong if I wasn't even here during these last days.
So, I'm asking you if you see something wrong with my profile, or with my discussions or my posts, because I really don't know what might be happening.
Maybe it's someone trying to ruin my reputation and negatively rating me everywhere he/she can find a (-) to click? I really don't see why someone would do this to me, as I always take care not to be offensive, even when I don't agree with the discussion owners.

Well that's really sad to know all this .. but you know all this happened because of some jealous members here on mylot. I was having 10 star earlier and my star dropped to 8 within 2 - 3 days time. I made a discussion -- Who is rating me negative and I guess that jealous members started giving me more and more negatives .. I have got this 9 with a lot of effort and with blessings of my friends who used to rate me positive all the time. You know whatever is our star rating .. we are always 10 star for our friends :) .. + to you hope you will get an increase in your rating soon .. Happy mylotting :)

You are most welcome .. actually we really don't know who is doing this .. and who is our enemy here .. it's a mystery .. obviously the member who is rating us negative will never say that he rated us negative or something .. Make sure that you respond to your friends discussions only in order to get your blue 10 star back.

Thank you, touchnshine! I don't know why would anyone be jealous like that, as I'm not a very important or active member here. But since the very beginning, I got a 10 star and it never dropped until now. Well, when I first got a star, it was an 8, but I managed to get the 10 after a couple of weeks. It's really sad if it's really someone ruining my reputation. Thanks for your words!

Yes four days is a long time so thats the reason why your ratings are dropped. But don't worry its easy to make up, be regular with discussions everyday. Don't think that some one is after you giving negative points, and respond to other discussions a lot. Take care good luck

I just took a week or two off of mylot because I've been busy with other things and my raiting actually went up a point. I really don't think being away effects your ratings, and certianlly doesn't cause them to drop.
More over, it's probably due to negative ratings from users and more likely from the mylot admin who may have took exception to one or more posts or replies.

Well I think it is just someone thinking they are funny this is what People are saying mylot is being ruined by Idiots like that they don't do anything about these nasty People but they get rid of good Members
I am sorry this has happened to and we will work to get you back up there
I wish they would get rid of this reputation rubbish

Hello laridbz. I was also laid off for the last 5 days but due to other circumstances. My rating didn't dropped a bit and I suggest you contact mylot admin regarding this matter.
It might be a glitch or the worst, someone has been rating you negatively. To cheer you up, I give you am oozing positive here. I'm sorry though that this happened to you.

Hi laridbz,please don't worry about this any more..I think everyone all have their own opinion,we have right to point out this problem,so i think you can do you best and i will always support you...I think the reputation is not very important,we stay here the important things is to have communicate to each other,to help others or give other some idea.

There might have been people that has given you a negative for some reason, but i have also heard that your reputation drops when i dont log on.. However I do not know if it is true. I am sorry that u have experiances this though, I will help you out a little by giving you a plus =)

That is a big drop! I lost 5 points in a few minutes one day and thought that was a lot. I have no idea what would cause the loss of that many points. I wonder if not logging in causes some loss?

It never dropped before. It was always 97 or 98. Suddenly, that. :( And well, I really don't want to believe 4 days without logging in would cause that. It's so lame that I prefer to believe it's someone trying to ruin my reputation. It's more acceptable! Hehehe!

i think your reputation has decreased because you were inactive in mylot for days, but there might be some other reason too, because your reputation has dcerased alot, i think you should mail the admin of the site and ask him what happened.

It's strange, but the same just happened to me. I didn't post for four days and, whoops, I fell from 93 to 73! As I don't believe in conspirations, and also cannot possibly explain why I should attract so much negative feelings, I really don't know what to think about. Thanks to some posters, my seven star upgraded to a precarious 8, but I hope I'll make it again!
Really don't know what to think about, but anyway, it's for having fun and sharing opinions, isn't it?

Hmm... There were posts here of people saying they were away for more time than us and nothing happened. I really don't know why it happened, and I didn't get a response from myLot about it. Well, what can we do? Wait to see if we can get our blue star back! :)

Well I do not think you have anything to really worry about, this thing happens to alot of people on Mylot at some time or another. Maybe it was because you were not posting for awhile, or maybe someone is just jealouse of you. Non the less it will be no time til you will build yourself back to where you wrere before.

I have not seen you post anything negative to deserve your rep.going down. Hopefully its as they all say that its because you were away for a bit. I'd hate think someone is just using that neg.button to hurt someone. Anyway, I hit some +'s for you. how do you know what your rep is?

The rules at myLot say that it is impossible to destroy anyone´s reputation by rating them negative, it would cause problems to that person instead.
Perhaps it all is due to being away for some time - one thing we could do before leaving would be to start some interesting discussions and they would probably get some responses while we are gone, so our account would be active all the time.
If you have many discussions, the chances are that even the older ones get responses, after all we are more than a hundred thousand here now...lots of new people coming every day..

yes, there are jealous blogers here and they look for someone with a lot of stars and hit them with a lot of minus..go do the math..it works..boo to them
