What frustrates you about your job? I like working, but there is always something frustrating about every job I get. Then I blow off some steam. So what frustrates you about your job?

I think it would be my boss! I enjoy the job itself but my boss is not really smart and she tends to give us a lot of her personal stuff to take care of and I am not really happy with it. Besides, I think she doesn't have a clear business goal and she tends to change her mind too often (not for the good), therefore the business is not cranking up! And therefore I am quitting because I don't want to work with her anymore. It definitely kills my brain cells.

Right that's just too much! I am glad that I have quitted and am only waiting for the lovely last day to arrive *hurray*! I think that would make life so much easier without her presence.

I had a male boss like that. I couldn't go South and North at the same time or East and West. He'd give me contradictory orders. Thought I would go out of my mind. Had to read books every nice with lots of excitement to take my mind off him so I could go to sleep. He had lots of personal stuff, scams he ran and backfired. He can't drive, so I had to drive him to his house to get something back to someone before they called the police. Now that's an interesting interruption in your work day. I found out about it later, wouldn't even tell me why I was driving him to his house. That was it for me. I don't want to be involved in that stuff.

I hope you have a back-up income. Or you're leaving for another job or still living at home, something. Take care

I am in customer service and every single day, one person will come in and ruin the day for so many people. Or, since I work 7-3, at 10 of 3 17 people will decide to aggravate me at once and I don't get out of there until 3:30. Or, the person who is supposed to be there at 3:00 shows up at 3:15!

Oh I hear you! I've had overnight jobs and the shift coming in would be 15 mins. late. All you want to do is get home and go to bed. They are taking their time, going from their car to the break room, putting stuff in the fridge, going to the bathroom, anything to stall and they do it after punching in. And yes, customers wait until the end of your shift, no matter when it ends to ask you questions. It's like they have negative esp! Take care.

Yes, I taught students who were immature at the college level before. Climbing into archival boxes at the library, lifting their shirts up to show belly-button piercings, etc. So embarassing. Luckily, some of my more mature students would help get them back into better behavior. AT the library, they could have caused damage, they just thought they were having fun. Yes, teaching immature, alledgedly adult students is very difficult. Patience and some way to get them to become mature is really needed. Thank you for writing.

I am working on a novel, not ready for publication, still in revisions, but what bugs me is trying to find names for the imaginary country in my fantasy novel. I love writing fiction, and I am better at it then non-fiction, but I never knew how difficult it was to name a country, especially when there are people or aliens who call it a name in their own language. Also what do the people call themselves, are they ----ians or -=-----ans =-===== ites or ======landers? Then when I have finally decided on a name, I have to go back through all the chapters and the maps to rename everything.

Oh I wish I had that problem. I started a novel, that became a short story, that became an unfinished chapter. When your revisions are done, will you let us know who publishes it or will you be self-publishing? Take care.

I'm frustrated that i don't seem to be doing much than i want to. My current job doesn't really need me to be creative enough. Well, I just try to fill the gap by taking on freelance work. =)

Yes, I was frustrated for awhile doing warehouse work when I wanted to do teaching-what my two college degrees are in. So I tutored on the side. It helps a little. Take care and good luck.

If I have enough money, I'll do the business by myself. But I don't, so I work for my boss. I like the job itself. But my boss don't trust me. He is preparing to recruit someone others to "assist me", though I'm not busy everyday. It frustrated me so much. I have no other idea about his decision. But I'm waiting for the new commer.

Careful that the assistant isn't someone you train and that person takes your job. Perinoid bosses are something else. I always stay looking for another job around them. You never know when they may let you go. TAke care

Yes, I agree with you. But until now, they hadn't got the satisfied person. Therefore, I controled this department by myself. I will noticed all the minor changes.

I have to drive a lot in my job, and I don't really like driving. That, and some days I just don't feel like being patient.

Sounds like it's really rough. Can you get another job? Can you get transferred to a job in the same place with less driving? Not liking driving and not being patient, do you feel like road rage sometimes? I hope not. There is supposed to be counseling for that. Some people play music or listen to something on the radio that makes them either calmer or happier (just not something to help them fall asleep). Cute Penguin, what a cute name. Hope you get some kind of relief from the frustration soon. Take care

My job frustrates me about my job. I really don't like where I work, but it pays the bills so I settle for it. I go in, do my work, then run out of there as fast as possible (faster if I can manage it) I know I shouldn't settle, but when you're being paid enough to be semi-comfortable it's hard to spend those 2 days you have off work looking for a job when you already have one.
